Symptoms

The term "menopause" refers to the final menstrual period. The ovaries stop producing eggs and your hormone levels of oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone fall. The perimenopause is the time before the menopause when you still have periods but your hormones are fluctuating causing a wide range of symptoms.

Common symptoms of the menopause include; anxiety, brain fog, decreased libido, disturbed sleep, fatigue, hot flushes, joint pain, night sweats, vaginal dryness and weight gain.
